Our bespoke workshop is where the journey begins to handmake you the furniture of your dreams. Every piece we make is designed uniquely for each client and made for you and you alone. This is your chance to have the bespoke furniture piece you’ve always wanted – one that contains all your chosen design ideas and size/usage requirements.
The process starts with a discussion by telephone/email or in person at our private showroom on what you want to achieve, what you like and what you dont so we can really understand what you need and can then create exactly the piece you see in your minds eye or something even better!
In short you are the key member of the design team and its our job to make the bespoke furniture you envision become a reality.
Once we have had our initial discussion so that we feel we understand your vision, we start the creation process with some sketches to bring your ideas to life. We work on these with you and they grow into the final piece that you dreamt of.
Once all the options and choices have been discussed and agreed, we draw up a bespoke furniture specification that lays out in detail what we will make for you and that covers all the relevant specs so that there is no confusion and then we start the build
Our master cabinet makers love what they do and pour love and attention into every piece we create from the initial design to the completed item. As you know, we only use the most gorgeous woods and our hand applied paint finishes are flawless in execution and depth. During the build we email your pictures of progress so you can follow the process and will come back to you with suggested revisions during the build if we think the piece can be further improved. Its often only once your bespoke furniture starts its physical shaping that some ideas come to the fore as it rises phoenix like from the wood shavings!
