Biedermeier Dropleaf Pedestal Table Tab 96

Biedermeier Dropleaf antique pedestal table in the highest grade of golden birch flame veneers from late 19th century or early 20th century Sweden.

It has drop down leaves on either side on a hinged assembly and a round pedestal column in the centre.

This Swedish Biedermeier dropleaf table is exquisitely finished in the classic honey coloured french polish and the Biedermeier table has an unusual stepped round base with stub feet and a gold ring.

It also features delicate brass carvings and rosettes on the table front and beautifully inlaid marquetry designs in the classic greco-roman style on the predestal and on the table top itself in the form of a diamond.

The dimensions are 128cm long x 59cm deep x 72cm high.
