Rare Swedish Gustavian bedside chest of drawers in a matched pair circa mid/late 1800s in great condition.
It is very unusual to find a pair of Gustavian drawers to act as bedside tables but these are just perfect.
This pair of Swedish Gustavian period chest of drawers feature a lovely detailed rosette motif on the door.
The top drawer has an ornate handle knob handles and the detailing is effortless.
The bedside cabinets have classic short Gustavian pyramid feet and lots of detail giving them a wonderful profile.
The commode chest of drawers are structurally sound for careful daily use and provides great storage.
The patina finish is white grey and features all the small markings you would expect of a piece of this period.
It has been treated against wood worm and has a plain back with distressed black finish.
