Swedish Antique Mora Clock with a decorative style from 1812 with carved good detail. Really nice dimensions with a great belly shape.

The face itself is in good condition and clean with good colour and the body has the usual wood movement and paint distressing common to a clock of this period.

The paint is very distressed with a fantastic patina to it – it will be treated with a clear matt lacquer to prevent it flaking off the clock but we can tidy it up for you if you prefer a cleaner look.

The clock is sold ‘as is’ : as a decorative piece only with the original mechanism and pendulum but not guaranteed to be in working order – If you want it working we can fit a professional hi torque battery mechanism for time keeping ( +£195) or you can have a great sounding chiming mech which replays the recorded chime through a small speaker with a volume control and 8 hour night off switch (+£295).
