Rare antique Mora Clock from Sweden from very early 1800s with unusual natural biedermeier french polish finish body and hood . This mora clock at approx 210cm with a nice clean face and a single hour hand which is common on very early 1800s clocks.
Lovely narrow waist and base too. Lovely ormolu style contrast colours too.
The body has the usual wood movement and paint distressing common to a clock of this period.
The clock is sold ‘as is’ : as a decorative piece only with the original mechanism and pendulum but not guaranteed to be in working order – If you want it working we can fit a professional hi torque battery mechanism for time keeping ( +£195) or you can have a great sounding chiming mech which replays the recorded chime through a small speaker with a volume control and 8 hour night off switch (+£295).
