1800s Swedish Mora clock in the rare Fryksdal style with elegant carved swag and rosette detailing.
It has a rare faux woodgrain folk art finish that was re painted in 1893 and the clock itself is circa 1820-1850. This Mora clock has a narrow tight waisted belly with a good face with an ornate crown on the hood and a narrow decorative base.
The clock is sold ‘as is’ : as a decorative piece only with the original mechanism and pendulum but not guaranteed to be in working order – If you want it working we can fit a professional hi torque battery mechanism for time keeping ( +£250) or you can have a great sounding chiming mech which replays the recorded chime through a small speaker with a volume control and 8 hour night off switch (+£350).
