Antique Swedish Kurbits Folk Art drop-leaf table hand-painted in the Classic Dalarna tradition of mid Sweden, circa late 19th century.

It has turned legs in the country style and the table is painted in hand-painted very detailed faux wood grain.

The Kurbits design includes handpainted feathers and swirls in rich fall colors in reds, russets, yellows, oranges and browns.

The table wings are supported by pullout wooden arms underneath.

The paint work is fairly distressed from use and has a slight sheen to it that has gone matte in some areas. The table is approximately 94 cm wide without the leaves extended and approx 140cm extended.
